A Complete Outdoor Living Build with TimberTech Decking & Gabled Roof
This project involved designing and building a fully enclosed 12’x12′ screened porch and deck for a residential customer. The deck was framed with pressure-treated lumber on 40″ deep post holes and concrete footers, with the surface finished in TimberTech Reserve Collection Driftwood composite decking, a single border accent board, and composite skirting around the base. The railing system featured approximately 40 feet of textured black Westbury Riviera II Series aluminum railing with C32 balusters and a set of 4′ wide steps.
The covered structure above was built with a gabled roof framed with 6×6 posts and triple 2×8 beams, with a stained black pine tongue and groove ceiling and white aluminum soffits and fascia. The shingle roof was tied into the existing house using CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Pewter, the front gable was sided with ProVia Double 4″ Straight Lap white vinyl siding, and all sides were enclosed with TuffScreen material and a swinging screen door. 3D renderings, building plans, and permits were handled as part of the full project scope.
